Equine & Farm Animals | Small Animals

LARGE ANIMAL SERVICES

We provide exceptional care for horses, and most domestic farm animals including cattle, goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, pigs, backyard poultry, and companion pet pigs.

Our facility is available for both regular appointments and emergency visits, but it is not staffed after hours. We do not perform abdominal/colic surgery on horses and only admit mild colic cases that do not require overnight monitoring. We continue to utilize high-quality referral partners at University of Tennessee, NC State University, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia, or Tryon Equine Hospital for those cases that need more oversight. Systemically healthy horses that need daily care or reproductive care will be admitted to stay overnight at our facility on a case-by-case basis.

Small Ruminant and Pig Haul-In Policy: We can provide the best, efficient care for the individual sick goat, sheep, and pet pig at our clinic and require that they are hauled to our facility.  Farm calls for these species are restricted to herd-health visits for wellness care for multiple animals.
